Should the student only sit for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)? Are the qualification are good enough to futher the study ? Examination can be define as a test to show a person progress ,knowledge and the ability.Public examination are held once a year to know the level of performance of the students and the school as well too.Due to the positive impact they bring,public examination should not be abolished.

To begin with,public examination used to choose student who get study at boarding school or daily school and as placement to the scholarships.This is to know the level of performance of the student.By doing examination the student will be place in the right school as well as their course. On the other hand, it is also to separate the student into classes at the different level.

For exanple, the student should start their examination with UPSR. It  is held for the purpose of know the level of student education. Next, for PMR as we know, it is intermediary of exam that held to make the student easier to choose their course whether science or art. Lastly, SPM is the most important exam for students as a determinant to futher their study.

Other reason why public examination should not be abolished is there will be a competition among the student itself.By doing the examination,it is like a self test to seee the position of the students in their study.So that,it can evaluates the students achievement.Besides that,the students are will not only compete with themselves but with other people too.They will work hard in the examination to pass with the flying colour.Not only that,it will increase the knowledge of the student to beat with other people.Beside that,the students will take the examination seriously so that they will achieve their self satisfaction.

On the other hand,we cannot deny the fact that public examination are causing too much anxiety,fear,stress and tension.For some failure in examinations,the failure will doing something that out of expectation such as commit suicide.Nevertheless,it is imposibble to test every aspect of a subject within the short time as it will cause to much pressure to the students.Furthermore,students will be having the emotional burden.On the other hand,in order to achieve good grades,the students and the teacher being overhelmed with worked,extra classs and tuition.

To certain extent they are right.Nevertheless,public examination should not be abolished.This is because,UPSR,PMR and SPM were the exams that kept the student focused in the academics during their primary and secondary schools day.Beside that,it is not relevant to abolish the examination because the students need to be prepared for something in the future.
